Join the Rice Model UN Team

Rice University’s Model UN Team based in Houston, Texas, is devoted to bringing college students together to participate in critically stimulating, challenging, and enriching experiences.

A resurging organization on campus, Rice Model United Nations wishes to leverage its vast international relations resources to provide students with a first-hand exploration of their academic/career interests through the United Nations system.

RiceMUN’s two defining characteristics are the hosting of a high school-level conference here at the university and the development of a traveling, competing MUN team. In order to achieve these goals, RiceMUN strives to engage its members, refining their diplomatic speaking and writing skills and employing their leadership capabilities to ensure continuous growth and development.

Rice Model UN is working on hosting our annual RMUN conference in Spring 2024. Committees for this year will be posted soon.

Our talented team of Rice students will be working diligently to ensure that next year’s RMUN is a great success!
