Climate refugees in the 21st century

The Social, Cultural, and Humanitarian Committee (SOCHUM) addresses inequality, humanitarian issues, and human rights across the world. Delegates in this committee will discuss issues of climate refugees forced from their homes due to disasters caused by climate change. A lack of a framework to deal with these issues leaves these people without recourse. As the world gets warmer, this issue will only become more pressing.
